Rep. West had an opportunity to join Governor Pritzker at the Chicago Rockford International Airport (RFD) to announce $2.6 million for workforce development going to the Workforce Connection. This includes 50 new paid apprenticeships as part of a training program for AAR's Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul Facility. Investment in workforce development allows us to bridge the skills gap and help people in our community obtain well paying, life long careers.
